We have been invaded by a handful of hummingbirds over the past few days and my whole family has been enthralled! These are amazing little creatures...I hope you get the opportunity to enjoy them also!

Who Knew?!
If anyone had ever told me that something so tiny could create such joy in my life, I would have scoffed at the idea. I would have been short-sighted.
We have been invaded by a handful of hummingbirds over the past few days and my whole family has been enthralled! These are amazing little creatures...I hope you get the opportunity to enjoy them also!

Go visit your Aunt Lynette when
the hummers migrate. I've stood
in her yard and had more than a
hundred buzzing around me. What
a hoot. If you go near the feeder
and stand real still for a few
minutes they will come close and
check you out. Wear red and they
may even land on you.
Sabrina, I have about 6 hummingbirds fighting over my two feeders and they are so funny to watch fighting each other for the sweet nectar of the feeders. But this year I also have beautiful yellow warblers feeding from the feeders also. The hummingbirds are generally too possesive to allow another bird species near their feeders but they have allowed 2 warblers to feed with them. It's just a hoot to watch! Colleen
